While each of the three members of “LOH” will be well-known to many fans of local live music, this new trio features each musician stretching out in creative, new ways. Highlights include a generous number of vocals by smooth-voiced Bill Lockie, lots of expressive jazz violin lines by Richard Owings, and a rare opportunity to hear the multi-talented Darrin Herting play straight ahead jazz guitar. The band’s repertoire includes covers of tunes both fresh and familiar, capped by several original jazz compositions by Richard and Darrin.
